Allentown, PA – September 10, 2018: Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI) is pleased to announce the awarding of a grant for the Joshua Group in Harrisburg, PA for the amount of $15,275 through CAI’s community relations initiative CAI Cares. CAI Cares has determined that the Joshua Group qualifies as an education partner to join CAI with their core mission to positively impact our communities. The program funds for this award is for Instructional Technology and will cover the annual subscription fees for the Imagination Station Reading and Dreambox Math programs during the 2018/2019 school year, as well as iPads and a Charging Station.
The Mission of the Joshua Group is to provide hope and support for at-risk Harrisburg youth, particularly through educational and vocational opportunities. More than 200 residents from the Allison Hill neighborhood come to the Joshua Learning Center to improve their lives by participating in one of their “childhood to career” educational programs. CAI looks forward to establishing a strong partnership with the Joshua Group through the school year and are thankful for their longstanding commitment to the children of Harrisburg.
