As the Administrative Assistant, Karen plays a key role in the office interacting with the Governor’s Office, Legislators, Agencies and their respective staff to coordinate meetings and manage the schedules of the lobbyists. She is also responsible for planning hosted events, managing our PACs and assisting with special requests.
Karen has played a significant role working with the board of the Burgess McCormac Foundation to run their Annual Charity Golf Outing for the last 7 years. The event is a bi-partisan charity golf outing benefiting worthwhile local charities in honor of the late Bob Burgess and the late Tom McCormac, a friend and Partner of the firm.
Karen graduated from Ursinus College with a BA in International Relations and German Studies. While in college she studied abroad in Germany and also did an internship with former state Senator Joe Conti. After college, Karen moved to Virginia and gained Government Relations experience by working for a lobbyist in Washington DC, while earning a Certificate of Graduate Study at the Institute of World Politics.
Karen has been an asset to the Pugliese Team since she moved to Harrisburg in 2006. She lives in Susquehanna Township with her husband and two children.
