
Noteworthy State Senate Changes
The Senate Republicans will hold the majority by a margin of 30-20. Today, Senator Tom Killion, the incumbent from Delaware County has been unseated by John I. Cane (Democrat). There are two additions for the Republicans: Nicole Ziccarelli and Devlin Robinson who defeated 2 Democratic incumbents.
Noteworthy State House Changes
The House Republicans will hold the majority by approximately 112-91, give or take a seat or two, due to the counting of mail in ballots. There are several races in the House that still could go either way. The noteworthy race is in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties where House Democratic Leader, Frank Dermody is losing to Carrie DelRosso by approximately 1200 votes. If this holds, there will be changes in the House Democratic leadership for the 2021-2022 session.
MAIL IN BALLOTS: Statewide, over 112,796 ballots have yet to be counted. The counties all have made progress with uncounted ballots. Several examples of un-counted ballots from counties across the State are: Allegheny – 36,456; Bucks – 4,220; Chester- 2437; Crawford – 4,577; Cumberland – 1,281; Delaware – 1,227; Lancaster – 975; Lehigh – 2,453; Montgomery – 33; and, Philadelphia – 23,288; Westmoreland – 4,034.
